Victoria is located to the South East of Australia. Victoria is home to many language groups including the Bunurong/Boon Wurrong, the Bratauolung, the Djadjawurrung, the Gunai/Kurnai, the Gunditjmara, the Taungurong, the Wathaurong, the Wurundjeri, and the Yorta Yorta.
Some oldest evidence of Aboriginal culture is located within Victoria, including the heritage listed Budj Bim which is home to ancient eel traps. Victoria has a lot of significant Indigenous sites that are yet to have proper safety barriers put in place that limits the ability for visitors to experience these sites.
