What is a Songline?

A Songline represents a verbal story that supersedes time or place but navigates one through land, lore and position within Indigenous Australia society. We chose ‘Our Songlines’ to be our name as we are inviting you into our culture and into our story.

A word from our Founder

Hello, I am Kayla, a proud Gurindji Woman who was born on Larrakia land and I now am fortunate enough to live on Bunurong / Boon Wurrong land. As most Indigenous people are I am extremely passionate about Human Rights issues and reconciliation for minority groups with a particular focus for my First Nations Auntys, Uncles, Brothers and Sisters. I founded Our Songlines to create a safe place for people to tell their stories, ask their questions and support First Nations businesses.
